The West Star quest revolves around your horse’s ability to reach the train in time. Unlike other activities, success here depends directly on speed.

Speed Requirements

Each West Star quest has its own tier, with a corresponding minimum horse speed requirement.

For example:

• Quests from Tier 1 to Tier 4 require a horse with at least 100 Speed

• Tier 5 requires 108 Speed

• Higher tiers continue to increase these requirements

If the horse currently assigned to your character does not meet the minimum speed requirement, you can still start the quest—but you won’t be able to complete it.

Story Quest Exception

The initial story quest that unlocks the train activity is designed to be completed even without a horse. This ensures that story progression is never blocked by horse speed requirements.
