How to attack competitors?
Prove your worth! — Construct the essential buildings and Projects on your Alliance base: a Safe, a Gold Mine, and a Power Station. Only then can your crew show they’re ready for the big leagues of the Gold Rush!
Get ready — Gather with your Alliance buddies and buy a lead to a rival’s base from Slick Johnny! Just one purchase from one player — and there you all go!
Discuss the tactics — Pay attention to the features of each competitor’s base. Each attack requires unique tactics. Think of one with your Alliance mates!
Get things done — Attack the rivals one-by-one with your Alliance mates! Work as one to reach the joint goal. Get to the Safe!
Enjoy the sweetness of victory! — Bring your loot to safety and enjoy it with your buddies at your Alliance base!

Get ready!
To participate in Gold Rush, your Alliance has to be ready — and that means building a Safe, a Gold Mine, and a Power Station. Only the well-prepared make it this far — these buildings show you ain’t just chasing gold for fun. You're in it for real.
Pay for a lead
Chip in Silver to reveal a rival’s base!
Your Alliance can unlock up to three revenge targets, each with a different cost: 200, 600, or 1200 Silver Coins.
Any Alliance member can contribute Silver, but the lead won’t be revealed until a Leader or Deputy activates the scouting. Even if the full amount is collected, rival towns won’t appear on the map until someone in charge gives the signal.
Once you pay Johnny, you will have 2 hours to raid the base he shows on the map. So make sure to coordinate the purchase of a lead with your Alliance buddies!
You can get to the rival’s base the same way you travel to other locations — on foot, using energy, or on horseback. Keep in mind that you have to raid the rival’s base in 2 hours!
⚠️ Please note! During a raid, your backpack is now restricted to consumables (healing items) and binoculars. Make sure to pack all the supplies you’ll need before heading out, because you won’t be able to return to your base once the attack starts.

To get more information about the competitors’ base, just tap on it. There are a lot of important details stated on the location’s card!
The more competitors there are, the more coordinated your attack needs to be. More icons next to the base lines mean higher-level buildings — and likely, more defenders guarding them. But don’t let that scare you off. A stronger base often means a bigger pile of Gold Nuggets waiting inside — and that’s what you’re here for.
One more important detail — all raids take place at night, no matter when you leave your current location. Even if you set out under the morning sun, you’ll arrive at the rival’s base after dark. And in the dark, it’s harder to spot intruders — defenders have limited vision. Use that to your advantage when planning both attacks and defenses.
Tip: To see everything clearly during the night, your competitors can send someone to guard the Power Station. During the night, its watchman will turn on powerful lights to illuminate the area. Your Alliance can use this tactic to your advantage, too!
Discuss the tactics with teammates!
It’s up to the Alliance to decide the tactics of the attack. Get in touch and have a discussion! Think of positions your Alliance members will have during an attack. Someone will be most effective as a scout. A few lads with okay-ish gear can take down the melee defenders. And a dude with the best equipment will make it past the most dangerous rival out there to the Safe! It’s all up to you!
Where one falls, another keeps up. You can see exactly where your fellows stopped their attack and continue it! Work as a team to reach the common goal, and the reward will be yours.
Tip: Use Alliance Bonuses to your advantage. With the Alliance rework, Leaders (and their Deputies) can activate special Bonuses for the whole team. Some of these bonuses affect PvP combat — for example, one Bonus increases the damage you deal to Alliance Defenders, making your attacks more effective, while another boosts your own defenders’ gear durability to strengthen your base’s defense. Coordinate with your Alliance to have the right Bonuses active before a raid for an extra edge in battle.
Strike as one!
It’s now or never, fellows! The attack will last for 120 minutes total. It’s either time runs out, or all of your Alliance members complete their turn!
You will be attacking the rivals’ bases one-by-one, continuing the joint path to the desirable reward. Pick a role for each member of the Alliance to progress. Work as a team and claim all the possible bounty!
Partners, to arms!
Stick to the plan you came up with your buddies. Prioritize your targets. Be efficient. Do whatever it takes to make it to the Safe and get those Gold Nuggets!
Each cowboy will have 5 minutes (or even less) until the reinforcement from Silverton arrives! So act fast, do not waste your time!
Keep an eye on your buddies’ progress by checking out the base location status! Alliance chat will be of great help. You can both communicate there and see how far your Alliance has made it. Each important step of your buddies will be marked there, allowing your Alliance to change tactics on the spot if needed!
Take all you can!
Made it through the competitor’s defenders? That’s only the beginning! It’s now time for the juiciest part of the attack — claiming those sweet rewards!
On a rival’s base, there’s only one thing you’re after — the Safe full of Gold Nuggets, locked away in their HQ. Get in, grab the Safe, and get it out. Just remember — it won’t go quietly, and it won’t go easy.
Think of the boldest plan to steal that Safe full of Gold — whatever works, partner! If your Alliance ran out of whiskey or coffee, well… too bad — because now it’s all about the Gold Nuggets! And there's only one place to get them: inside the enemy’s Safe.
Steal what you need to make your Alliance thrive — and deal a blow to your rivals while you’re at it. Losing Gold will slow their progress, and give you a head start to the top of the rankings!
The Safe must be carried to the edge of the rival’s base before it can be transported. But it won’t be easy — Gold is heavy, and while you’re carrying it, you can’t fight back. Clear your path in advance and cover each other. You’ve only got one pair of hands, cowboy — don’t catch a bullet while hauling treasure!

Teamwork makes the dream work! All your joint efforts will pay off at the end of the attack. Complete it and get to enjoy the fruit of your cooperation!
All you get from the rival’s base will be hidden in a cache nearby until the attack ends. Once it is over, the loot will be delivered to your Alliance’s base! Get back and enjoy the sweetness of victory!
And that’s not all — your performance in Gold Rush raids also affects your Alliance’s standing in the competition. The Gold Rush leaderboard now counts more than just the Gold you steal. It tracks every raid your Alliance completes, each Safe you crack, and even successful defenses against revenge raids as well, on top of the total Gold looted. In short, climbing the ranks isn’t just about amassing Gold anymore — every successful raid and defense counts toward your Alliance’s glory!
